Yoga in the spotlight of Zoom

This week I started teaching in person again.
I mainly heard one thing from those students, on how much they are fed up practicing via zoom.

If you know me a bit, you know how much I am compassionate about my students and their needs.
But sorry, I have to admit that I don’t get this one.

I love teaching my zoom classes and taking my own zoom practice.
I love the fact that no matter what happens around me, not even a pandemic can stop me. I can relate to my practice, my teacher and my yoga from the comfort of my home.

But, apparently I am not the only one who likes zoom.

Let me tell you about my plants…

The agave which is always prominently displayed in a peak spot in my Zoom classes needed to be watered. Because agaves are supposed to being in direct sunlight, sucking up all the rays, I thought I’d give her a bonus by placing her into a sunny spot. I exchanged this plant with another plant for one recording.

The “new” plant which starred in the recording, immediately got greener hues …However, the agave in the sunny spot turned yellow immediately and lost all elasticity. What a sad view…

Now, there's a little bit of competition going on between my plants on who gets to stay in the spotlight…

Personally, I don’t have the same need to being in the center of attraction like my plants. But it certainly motivates me to show up for you and shine!

I hope you continue to enjoy my classes, no matter if it’s online or in person (currently only on Wednesday lunch at Yogaflame).

My next class takes place this Saturday morning – and more classes to come!

Wishing you good vibes for Earth Day!
